About the Role: Driving Innovation in Crew Resources and Scheduling The Co-op, Crew Resources - Data Analyst position is a fully remote role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be an integral part of the Crew Resources and Scheduling team, working directly with experienced professionals to identify and implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making. Your work will be critical in helping Delta maintain its competitive edge in the aviation industry. Key Responsibilities: Where Your Skills Will Shine Develop and implement data automation solutions to replace manual processes, improving efficiency and reducing task completion time. Utilize data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills to design and implement data-driven solutions that support business objectives. Apply project management skills to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with the Crew Resources and Scheduling team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive cost and time savings. Leverage scripting programming languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate tasks and processes. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box to develop innovative solutions. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner. What You Need to Succeed: Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university. Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and data modeling. Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Excel, including VBA. Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills. Robust verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in teams. Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include: Proficiency in a scripting programming language (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Knowledge of process improvement methodologies. Curiosity, sense of humor, willingness to try new ideas, and persistence in the face of adversity.
