Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt Department: Mortgage Division Reports To: Branch Manager, Mortgage Division Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000 Requirements Position Summary The Communication Manager serves as the expert for shaping and maintaining Texana Bank's public image and brand reputation. This strategic communications leadership role is responsible for managing all external and internal communications to advance the bank's mission of serving military personnel, veterans, and their families. The PR Manager is ultimately responsible for the success or failure of the bank's public relations and brand management initiatives, representing the bank across multiple markets and contributing to both operational strategy and brand development. Key Responsibilities: • Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with media outlets, celebrity personalities, podcasts, and strategic partners • Search for new PR opportunities, innovative brand promotion strategies, and maximize positive exposure at the highest possible level • Serve as the in-house expert in public relations, brand management, and celebrity partnership development • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the bank's brand visibility and reputation • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the bank, managing all media inquiries and press communications • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials • Identify, approach, and negotiate partnerships with celebrity personalities who align with the bank's mission and values • Proactively identify and engage veteran-owned businesses and develop tailored banking solutions • Develop comprehensive publicity strategies for creators, non-profits, and veteran-owned businesses • Work with the bank's team members to improve their on-camera presence and media skills through professional training • Create comprehensive bank talking points and messaging frameworks for different audiences • Ensure all communications comply with banking regulations and FDIC guidelines • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum of 7-10 years in public relations, corporate communications, or brand management, preferably in banking or financial services • Proven track record of success in media relations, celebrity partnerships, and brand development • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking communications • Ability to travel as needed for media events, conferences, and partnership development Equal Opportunity Statement: Texana Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
