Job Title: Compensation Analyst Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Compensation Analyst to manage sales commission processes and support our accounting team in a fully remote environment. This role will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of commission calculations, payroll processes, and data management within our innovative financial platform. Responsibilities • Assist with end-to-end commission calculations and payroll processes. • Enter and reconcile commission data in both Forma (new system) and legacy manual systems. • Ensure accuracy and resolve errors through thorough double-checking. • Support integration of commission processes for 4–5 acquired companies. • Work within Forma, shared email inbox, and ticketing system. • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for manual processes. • Collaborate with accounting and sales teams for data entry and reporting. • Perform accruals and reconciliations. • Assist with month‑end close processes, condensed to two days. • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods, especially at the end of February. Essential Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 5+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for reconciliations and accruals experience. • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. • Ability to work well under pressure. • Experience working in a global business environment handling multiple currencies. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with sales commission management. • Familiarity with data analysis and data entry processes. • Knowledge of general ledger and month‑end processes. Work Environment This is a fully remote consulting role, initially for six months with a strong possibility of extension. You will be part of a team supporting both the accounting commission team and the sales team. The work schedule requires flexibility during the month‑end close, which is typically condensed to two days. The role is part of a dynamic shared services team in a leading SaaS company that provides a secure, cloud‑based platform for managing complex financial transactions such as Mergers & Acquisitions, fundraising, and restructuring. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 – $52.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
