Compliance / Transactional Attorney - Contract to Hire

Who do we serve? We serve families making $350k - $2MM in annual income and net worths between $100k - 15MM. As a fractional family office, we provide combined tax, legal, and investing advice to help clients save taxes, protect their families, and optimize their investments in asset backed businesses (syndications / private placements). Who are we? Royal Legal Solutions helps over 2,000 investors nationwide with asset protection, estate planning, tax strategy, and portfolio analysis. We protect over $1.2 billion in assets. Who is our perfect candidate? Attorney with sales experience that has an integrated knowledge of personal and business taxation, asset protection, estate planning, and investing using syndications / private placements. Experience working with HNW and UHNW clients is a bonus. Commission structure explained The commission structure is separate from your base hourly rate. Your role is taking the on-going meetings with clients to help them continue to execute on the strategic plan developed when they were onboarded. You help ensure everything they have put together so far is being used correctly, and identify the next steps that they can execute. Those next steps typically result in sales between $1,000 - $10,000 and are commissioned at a 10% of sale. Of the 3000 clients, we are looking for you to take 15-20 meetings per week, resulting in 5-7 sales per week. EXPERTISE --Private Foundations - Use of private foundations as a tax mitigation tool --Business Client Expertise - Tax strategy and operational efficiency for $20MM+ ARR Business Owner Clients who need upgrades to corporate structure, tax shelters, estate tax, etc. --Estate Planning - Wills & Directives, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Medicaid Trusts, Estate Tax --Tax Law & Shelters (for w2 clients and business owners)- Self-Directed IRA Trusts & LLCs, Solo 401(k)s, S-Corporations & Elections, C-Corporations, Defined Benefit Plans, Private Foundations. MBA, CFP certification, or CPA/EA license a plus. --Asset Protection - LLCs, Series LLCs, Statutory Trusts, Anonymity Strategies, Corporations --Bonus if you know about: Real Estate, Syndications, Deed & Transfers, Offshore Trusts, Life Insurance Strategies --Bonus if you have any Sales experience and helping clients put into action their strategic plan with a high end touch and feel. --This role is focused on: --Client strategy consultation, preparing quotes for strategic execution, upselling clients to take action on their strategic plan --Focus Areas we want you to know about: business and personal tax strategy, legal strategy sessions, and investment meetings --Document implementation: Drafting, customizing, and reviewing entity documents, trusts, foundation materials, and commercial agreements --Problem-solving: Researching complex issues, proposing solutions, and implementing strategies that work across tax, entity, and estate planning disciplines RESPONSIBILITIES --Working from home using digital tools to interact with team members and clients --Resolving client complaints --Being a team player and coordinating with internal team members to resolve issues in a timely manner --Custom drafting for special requests --Following internal processes and procedures to document meetings, client details, and project details --Communicating with sales, marketing, paralegal, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience --Client Meetings via video calls --Explain complex tax, entity, and estate planning strategies in accessible language --Draft and customize: Bylaws, operating agreements (SMLLC and partnerships), land trust agreements, policy documents, estate planning documents --Review third-party documents and identify issues/opportunities --Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state requirements --Daily email support to clients, with potential phone calls or follow up meetings with clients to resolve questions or issues that cannot be resolved via email --Document best practices and standard operating procedures --Selling applicable legal products and services and following sales scripts --Requesting testimonials, reviews, and referrals REQUIREMENTS --J.D. degree from an ABA Accredited Law School --Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction(s) --3+ years of experience in asset protection, estate planning, tax law and shelters --Experience working with high net worth clients --Comfort in a startup environment, which is less structured and requires more creative problem solving and self-motivation --Native-level and fluent English SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS --Team player with exceptional verbal and written communication skills --Takes initiative and solves problems proactively --Detail oriented, organized, and follows process consistently Apply tot his job
