Construction Inspector/Checker
Construction Inspector/Checker We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Inspector/Checker to oversee and inspect water and sewer utilities, treatment plants, water storage facilities, civil site work, and commercial buildings across the Statesboro, GA region. This role offers a company vehicle, flexibility to work from home with limited office visits, and the chance to play a key role in ensuring projects meet specifications and quality standards. What You'll Do: • Inspect and monitor construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications • Oversee work related to sewer, water, treatment plants, storage tanks, and site/civil projects • Maintain daily logs, inspection forms, and provide reports to engineers/owners • Document work progress through photos and as-built drawing updates • Act as the engineer's representative in the field, coordinating with contractors and project owners What We're Looking For: • Minimum 5 years of inspection or construction supervision experience • Experience with water and sewer utilities, treatment plants, and civil/site work • Ability to read and interpret construction plans • E&S Level 1A Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Compensation & Details: • Pay: $21 $30/hour (6-month temp-to-perm) • Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm • Location: Statesboro, GA area with travel throughout nearby counties (company vehicle provided) • Benefits upon conversion: 100% paid medical insurance for the individual Apply tot his job
