Overview Consultant, Ohio Medicaid Financing & Policy Projects - Remote OH. This full-time remote position supports the Ohio State-Based Team within the Northeast consulting group, focusing on financial and policy initiatives connected to directed payment projects. The Consultant provides project management services to project teams and supports timely and effective delivery of technical, policy, and political solutions in Medicaid financing. Key Responsibilities • Track the progression of project components and document important decisions, next steps, and outcomes. • Produce or assist in the production of client deliverables. • Assist with projects requiring quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis; collect, analyze, and summarize data into concise, usable reports. • Assist with meeting, conference, panel, hearing planning and coordination; prepare for and participate in internal team and external client meetings as requested. • Conduct research and literature reviews using industry publications and databases; analyze findings to support healthcare policy, programs, and technology applications. Key Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years in public healthcare policy administration or healthcare consulting; advanced degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Business, Economics, or MBA preferred (or equivalent experience). • 2–3 years of progressively responsible work experience in health or human services policy research, consulting, or service delivery. • Previous project/task management experience strongly desired; high attention to detail. • Experience delivering services on several projects simultaneously. • Experience with Medicaid preferred. • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Asana. Other Requirements • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to relay complex technical terms clearly. • Ability to interact professionally with clients and external audiences; experience coordinating the work of others. • Professional writing experience is highly desirable; ability to work independently and in teams; good time management. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated salary range is from $65,400/year in the lowest geographic market to up to $81,500/year. Final pay depends on factors such as experience, education, and location. Eligible for Sellers Dorsey’s Annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) up to 7% of annual salary. Benefits may include group health plans (medical, dental, vision), short/long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k), Flexible Time Off, 10 paid holidays, medical leave, and up to 12 weeks of combined paid parental and bonding leave.
