Job Responsibilities: Leading the Way in Math Instruction As a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality math instruction to students in grades 2-12. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading, coaching, and collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning environment. Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, using this information to inform instruction and drive student success. Communicating student progress with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and insights to support student growth. Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method ® , terminology, and teaching practices, adapting to the needs of diverse learners. Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in math education. Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere for all students. Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the learning center. Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate To excel as a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of West Marietta, you should possess: A passion for math and a commitment to helping students succeed, with a strong foundation in math concepts through at least Algebra I. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. An eagerness to learn and be trained, with a growth mindset and a willingness to develop new skills and expertise. Exceptional math competency, demonstrated through a math literacy test as part of the application process. The ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities, providing guidance and support to team members while delivering high-quality instruction.
