With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, employee development, and community involvement, we are dedicated to being the best in the industry. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Registering sales on assigned cash register and providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items. * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records. * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. * Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned. **Training & Personal Development** As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to attend training and complete PPLs (Product, Process, and Location) requested by your manager or assigned by corporate.
