Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner. Operate a Cash Register: Process transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accuracy when handling customer payments. Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, and that all merchandise is properly displayed. Support Colleagues: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive work environment. Perform Additional Tasks: Participate in inventory management, assist with photo services, and perform other tasks as assigned by management. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A degree in any field is preferred, but not required. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. English Language Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications Retail Experience: At least six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous Walgreens Experience: Previous experience working at Walgreens is an asset. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Skills and Competencies Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries. Cash Handling Skills: Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash and credit transactions. Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
