About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at GEICO, you will be the first point of contact for our policyholders, providing personalized service that demonstrates the value of being insured by GEICO. You will have the opportunity to solve problems, answer billing questions, make policy changes, and offer recommendations to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and timely information about their policies, billing, and coverage. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues as needed to ensure prompt resolution. Process policy changes, updates, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Provide recommendations and guidance to customers on available products and services. Utilize computer software and systems to access customer information, process transactions, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and procedures. Qualifications and Skills Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to commute to 2320 Landon Rd, North Liberty, IA 52317. Solid computer and multi-tasking skills. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service experience, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
