About the Role As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure they understand their coverage and options. You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, taking inbound calls and resolving their queries related to prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls from members, providing clear and concise information about their pharmacy benefit plans. Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience. Offer solutions and alternatives to simplify the healthcare experience for our members. Maintain accurate records and update customer information as needed. Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements, ensuring the confidentiality and security of customer data. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 6 months of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military environment. A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include: 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment or Healthcare related field. 6 months of work from home experience, demonstrating your ability to work independently and manage distractions. Healthcare certification, such as a Medical Assistant certification, is a plus. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues. A customer-centric approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks. Proficiency in using technology, including computer systems and software applications.
