About the Role As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you'll play a vital role in our CarePlus/Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive the care and support they need. You'll work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include: Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, ensuring compliance and patient safety Making outbound calls and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes Providing excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient care and support Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a specialty pharmacy setting Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office applications High levels of reliability, accuracy, and professionalism, with a strong customer focus and team orientation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Specialty pharmacy experience, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of specialty patients Call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment Prescription adjudication experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues What We Offer At CVS Health, we're committed to supporting the well-being and success of our colleagues. Location and Schedule This role is based in our Atlanta, GA office, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 7:30pm, with no weekends or holidays required.
