**Customer Service Representative – Retail and Fuel Operations**

Our Retail Division operates Wi-Not Stop convenience stores and a Marketplace, while our HVAC Division is Class A licensed by the state of Virginia to install the latest energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. We're now seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative – Retail and Fuel Operations. As a key member of our team, you'll provide prompt, courteous customer service, ring up sales on the cash register, and handle money, checks, and other forms of payment with ease. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide prompt, courteous customer service to our valued customers * Ring up sales on the cash register and properly handle money, checks, and other forms of payment received for products and/or services sold * Perform multi-function operation of the fuel console, ensuring seamless transactions and efficient customer service * Maintain store cleanliness and perform basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment in the store * Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits, ensuring accurate records and efficient operations * Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses, promoting financial accuracy and responsibility * Perform all duties with minimum supervision and work irregular hours as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability * Stand and/or walk up to eight hours per day, with occasional exposure to cold temperature extremes while performing work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer * Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per day, requiring physical stamina and dexterity * Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands up to eight hours per day, requiring eye-hand coordination and coordination of both hands for up to four hours per day **Requirements:** * High School graduate or equivalent, with a strong foundation in basic arithmetic operations * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may require evening and weekend shifts * Excellent verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns * Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for building strong relationships and exceeding customer expectations * Ability to understand and follow instructions as given, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Proficient with a variety of equipment, including a telephone, cash register, fuel console, money order machine, microwave, grill, nacho machine, coffee grinder, and more * Ability to properly handle and use a range of materials, including cloth, paper, plastic, glass, rubber, liquids, cleaning solvents, and more * Ability to perform the essential duties and work under the conditions described, with a focus on safety and efficiency **What We Offer:** * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions * Comprehensive training and onboarding program * Flexible scheduling and work-life balance * Opportunities to work with a variety of equipment and technologies * Recognition and appreciation for your hard work and dedication **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're committed to building a team of talented and dedicated individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality products.
