Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Data Annotation Experts in labeling 3D and image data for neural network training, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow. Manage day-to-day execution, create training plans, track progress, and complete monthly performance reports for team members. Collaborate with engineers and Autopilot leadership to develop and implement annotation policies, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met. Communicate complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to team members, engineers, and leadership. Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ensure accurate documentation and scheduling for the team, maintaining up-to-date records and processes. Recognize and reward team members who consistently exceed expectations, fostering a culture of excellence. Mentor direct reports, promoting a cohesive and high-performing team. Manage timekeeping and attendance through Kronos system. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Data Annotation Supervisor at Tesla, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience managing and inspiring medium-sized teams that perform manual tasks. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive efficiency and quality. Commitment to data accuracy and throughput, with a keen eye for detail. Proficient problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changing requirements. Experience working with standard workflow software, such as JIRA and Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, Tesla prefers candidates with: Experience in data annotation, labeling, or a related field. Knowledge of Autopilot or computer vision technologies. Background in managing teams in a remote or distributed environment.
