We're seeking an exceptional Deployment Manager to oversee and manage charging infrastructure projects worldwide, specifically within France. As a Deployment Manager at Tesla, you'll play a critical role in expanding our Supercharger network, ensuring seamless project execution from start to finish, and contributing to a sustainable future. About Tesla's Charging Infrastructure With over 30,000 Superchargers globally, Tesla boasts the largest fast-charging network on the planet. Strategically located along major routes and near convenient amenities, our Superchargers keep our customers charged and on the move. As we continue to expand our charging infrastructure, we're now recruiting a talented Deployment Manager to lead and manage all charging infrastructure projects within France. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee and manage charging infrastructure projects from A-Z, including permitting, scheduling, contracting, construction phase management, and project delivery within agreed-upon timelines and budgets. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Project Development team during negotiations and discussions with potential site hosts. Permitting and Subcontractor Management: Be responsible for the permitting phase and selection of subcontractor(s). On-Site Development Management: Manage all on-site developments, visit building sites and directions, and direct subcontractors. Reporting and Stakeholder Management: Report to internal and external stakeholders on progress, costs, and performance. Grid Connection: Liaise with grid operators to establish the infrastructure connection. Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively within established timelines. Risk Management: Identify potential obstacles and provide effective solutions. What You'll Bring Essential Qualifications: Relevant Work Experience: At least 4 years of relevant working experience in A-Z project management of construction or potential installation projects. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to issue-solve and make well-judged decisions. Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Passion for Sustainable Energy: Fondness for the sustainable energy sector/e-mobility and energy to learn. Travel and Driver's License: Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license. Language Skills: Fluency in French and English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Renewable Energy: Previous experience working in the renewable energy sector or e-mobility. Project Management Certifications: Possession of project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical engineering, construction, or a related field.
