We're looking for our "voice" in gaming, and we're just getting started. We are seeking a Director of Product Management to join our team and oversee our games member experience product management team. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key part in shaping the future of how members discover and play our games on a global scale. You will be responsible for driving the product strategy, approach and innovation for our games member experience product team (discovery, mobile/tv core experience, etc.). This is a newly created role and the incumbent will be a key partner to our member experience product teams, engineering, data science, and design teams, leading these partners towards a long-term vision for how we can connect our global audiences to Netflix games through an engaging and innovative product experience. A leader with an understanding of the games industry and ecosystem, and proven experience driving innovation in global personalized consumer product is preferred. This role is based in our Los Gatos or Los Angeles office in a hybrid model, but we are open to remote candidates who are on the West Coast. Travel to Los Gatos and Los Angeles will be required. Responsibilities • Inspire a high-performing team to continually come up with novel approaches to promoting and recommending a diverse games content offering to a global member audience • Build bridges with leaders around the world to strengthen collaboration with engineering, games studio, design, research, data science and other partners • Create an environment that fosters high-quality, metrics-driven experimentation and leads to impactful improvements with brand-positive business impact. • Lead and continue to expand a high-performing teams of product managers who excel within a diverse and inclusive environment. Qualifications • Experience leading a product management function at global scale with an emphasis on gaming consumer products and customer experience. • Built and maintained strong and effective cross-functional partnerships across different areas of a business to drive toward and accomplish ambitious product goals. • Understanding of business and financial acumen including strong analytical skills. • Managed and developed experienced product teams with a passion for people management and mentorship. • Operates successfully in ambiguous situations, can be flexible and nimble in an evolving space, and has a high level of curiosity. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $430,000 - $1,500,000 . Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
