Job Summary The Director, Healthcare Data Management will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate data adaptation opportunities, develop and implement data management processes, and provide strategic guidance to various business units. This role will be responsible for managing the operational elements of the US Healthcare Procedure group and will be a key influencer across Walgreens to create visibility and collaborative energies. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance current data adaptation products, processes, and goals, and support various division initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new data product/services clients by acting as a data SME and working closely with various internal teams, including IT. Participate in regulatory or contractual reviews with data analysis as a SME and contribute to RFP responses and Statements of Work (SOW) for new contracts. Work in a matrix environment to provide shared accountability for manufacturer partnerships with Buying, Public Record Management, and Specialty Pharmacy. Manage channel entry business and benefits effectively, and develop and maintain major areas of strength for relationships while communicating Walgreens' needs regarding drugs, trade, specialty, program/product development, account management, and clinical services. Support new business development by providing project plan and process details to make recommendations for new services and/or reporting/analytics capabilities. Advise on various data adaptation projects and initiatives to ensure that any data-related changes and conditions are identified, communicated, documented, and understood to guarantee adherence with organizational requirements and Enterprise Data Management established standards. Mentor, coach, and develop employees through guidance, training, and performance management programs to build employee confidence, motivation, and loyalty. Lead delivery and support of current and new analytics products, including advances, and work with external vendors to provide data and insights to Pharma, Payer, and Health System partners. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department and company goals within budget and established timelines. Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing procedures to resolve issues. Experience with project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific project goals and objectives. Experience in program administration and analysis of manufacturer programs for Specialty Pharmacy services. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience working in a matrix environment. Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and developments. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
