About the Role The Director of Cybersecurity - Privileged Access Management and Monitoring will play a critical role in our Chief Security Office (CSO) Identity and Access Management team. As a seasoned cybersecurity professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust PAM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will also lead initiatives to automate PAM processes, streamline operations, and provide subject matter expertise and training to team members on best practices in PAM and privileged activity monitoring. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive PAM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of systems and data. • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our overall security posture and incident response capabilities. • Lead initiatives to automate PAM processes and streamline operations for efficiency. • Provide subject matter expertise and training to team members on best practices in PAM and privileged activity monitoring. • Manage and mentor a team of technical cybersecurity professionals. • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: • Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. • 10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on privileged access management. • 5 years of experience managing technical cybersecurity teams. • Proven experience in implementing and managing PAM solutions. • Strong understanding of privileged activity monitoring and its role in detecting and mitigating security incidents. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Financial services background. • Experience with IAM, Risk, and Controls. • Proven track record of managing large IAM and monitoring programs at a large and complex company. • In-depth knowledge of IT controls and automated processes.
