About the Insights, Strategy, and Development (ISD) Team The ISD team is dedicated to advancing Amplify's professional development strategy by enhancing and expanding PD resources, developing a visionary approach for digital learning and PD offerings, and continuously refining these resources and programs to support effective Amplify product implementation and improve student outcomes. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of professional development at Amplify. Job Summary As the Director, Professional Development Strategic Partnerships, you will lead the execution of high-impact professional development partnerships, fostering collaboration that drives student growth and achieves strategic goals, particularly in support of math initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure their needs are being met while managing a diverse portfolio of partnerships, each with individual goals. Key Responsibilities Partnership Strategy: Shape and deliver a strategic plan that aligns with partnership frameworks and addresses shared priorities. Collaborate with partners to direct and influence the development of partnership plans. Analyze partner engagement to identify new opportunities for collaboration and value enhancement, strengthening the partnership. Partnership Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for professional development partnerships, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Manage a variety of partnerships, each with distinct goals and objectives, to ensure alignment and drive success. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that arise, considering opportunities/challenges, and ensure timely and effective solutions. Demonstrate strong communication skills at the organizational levels, building relationships with both internal and external partners. Deliver clear, compelling, and comprehensive partnership updates to internal and external stakeholders that highlight impact, supported by data and key insights. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess partnership success and identify areas for improvement. Provide timely reports and updates to both internal and external stakeholders on partnership status and progress towards goals. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and drive successful outcomes to each project plan. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs and resources tailored to each partner's project plan to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services, with a focus on math-related initiatives. Plan and execute large-scale training events for partners to enhance their engagement and proficiency in product and service updates, including specialized sessions on math programs and resources. Recruit and manage a team of contractors to develop and facilitate training sessions, ensuring high-quality delivery that aligns with outlined objectives, particularly in math education. Anticipate future partner needs and industry trends to create and implement comprehensive training strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance overall effectiveness. Manage Execution & Implementation: Lead multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful execution. Track project progress closely, making necessary adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and effective management. Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of quality. Report on project outcomes, maintain appropriate documentation, and share status, progress, and impact to team leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability. Flexible Engagement & Team Commitments: Integrate and align your work with team and company priorities, actively contributing to the achievement of these goals. Participate in and/or lead team commitments, including working groups, team meetings, projects, and other initiatives contributing to the overall success of the region. Flexibly support various initiatives as needed, adapting to the changing needs of the organization and contributing to emerging projects or priorities. Qualifications and Skills You are a pedagogical enthusiast with a passion for instructional practices across content areas, particularly in math education. You embody the Amplify PD brand values, prioritizing building relationships, leading with a "how might we" mindset, and demonstrating impeccable finesse. You are energized by working with and driving outcomes through others, and you have a bias toward action, effectively sizing up risk and opportunity to move groups and individuals forward. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience 8+ years of experience in a partnership role (e.g., partner success, account management, client management) preferably in an edtech company or Educational Leadership role in K12 or Higher Education Understanding of math education and the math education market Proven experience leading large-scale projects in an education setting, including planning, budgeting, prioritizing, and running work streams across multiple stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills Demonstrated experience leading teams; ability to engage with and build relations with senior leadership Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to travel nationally, not expected to exceed 20% of the time on average Preferred Qualifications: Master's or advanced degree Experience with Illustrative Math, Desmos Math, or Amplify Math, including coaching educators in their use Experience in the field of education, school / district leadership, educational publishing / technology What We Offer Amplify offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including a competitive salary, 401(k) plan, health insurance, mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000, and you will be eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
