Document Processing Specialist

The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for efficiently processing various documents, ensuring compliance, and maintaining records to support seamless workflow within the organization. Responsibilities Place mail in proper buckets for distribution Collect daily mail and distribute to correct departments. Date stamp all incoming mail Sort mail such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments Prepare outgoing mail for Enrollment and Operations teams Weigh mail to determine correct postage Fold letters, circulars, or other documents and insert into envelopes for distribution Prepare Enrollment Batches Maintaining Misdirected Document Log Logging batches in and out of file system Organize, maintain, and scan documents Stock copy rooms and printing devices Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies Fax documents to clients, members, and vendors Support mailing, scanning/copying, and filing needs of Claims department as needed Support operational departments when needed Other duties as assigned Skills High School diploma or equivalent GED Must be able to lift 40 pounds Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Knowledge of administrative procedures Knowledge of basic accounting procedures Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office Proficient in use of email and internet Good numeracy skills Accurate keyboard skills Must be able to travel when needed or required Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (note-taking) Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to fifteen (15) lbs Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly Company Overview Clever Care Health Plan is a healthcare company that provides health insurance for medicare services.
