Economic & Financial Systems Analyst | Banking Risk, ALM & Market Strategy
We are seeking a highly analytical professional with strong understanding of economic trends, banking system behavior, and financial risk dynamics. The ideal candidate can connect economic indicators and policy changes to banking sector outcomes — including liquidity, credit, and profitability trends. You should be fluent in the language of balance sheets, ALM, credit and market risk, and able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Responsibilities include: Analyzing how changes in growth, inflation, FX, and fiscal policy affect banking system performance. Assessing credit, market, and liquidity risk trends across regions or institutions. Supporting scenario and stress testing with sound economic and financial reasoning. Producing concise, data-driven reports and insights for senior decision-makers. Required Skills & Background Strong grasp of macroeconomics, banking operations, and financial risk concepts. Experience in bank strategy, risk, or economic analysis (consulting, banking, or central bank ideal). Proficiency with financial modeling and quantitative analysis (Excel, R, Python, or EViews a plus). Excellent written communication — ability to distill insights for an executive audience.
