Editorial Fellow
Foreign Policy (FP) is seeking talented, early-career editors for its editorial fellowship program starting in August. This yearlong position offers candidates the chance to work closely with experienced editors and writers, developing their editing skills and taking on newsroom responsibilities. Responsibilities Edit stories for FP and prepare them for publication under the supervision of senior editors Curate and produce newsletters Review submissions and participate in pitch meetings Generate article ideas and help with the news planning calendar Assist in all elements of print and web production, including layouts, research, and fact-checking Skills Strong academic credentials, including at least a bachelor's degree Journalism experience Demonstrated interest in world news and international politics, and policy Legal right to work in the United States Experience living outside the United States Knowledge of a language other than English Company Overview Foreign Policy is a magazine for global politics, affairs, current events, and domestic and international policy.
