Job Overview As an Aetna Account Manager, you will serve as a consultative partner to our clients, providing expert guidance and support to help them navigate the complexities of pharmaceutical benefit plans. Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive business growth and retention Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients Analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions to drive positive outcomes Providing exceptional client service, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and concerns Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to maintain a high level of business acumen and expertise Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of client accounts, developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and retention Conducting regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify opportunities for growth, and provide guidance on plan optimization Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, to develop and implement targeted solutions that meet client needs Analyzing client data, identifying trends and insights, and developing recommendations to drive business growth and improvement Providing training and support to clients on pharmaceutical benefit plans, including plan design, implementation, and management Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare, or pharmacy At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the pharmaceutical benefit management (PBM) industry Knowledge of intranet and extranet systems, CRM software, or settlement platforms (e.g., SalesForce, Peoplesafe, AS400) Certification in a related field, such as pharmacy or healthcare management Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines Strong business acumen, with the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
