Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Agency Sales Manager to join our team at arenaflex. As a knowledgeable authority for corporate travel management services, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and developing strategic business relationships with our clients. With a focus on delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding customer service, you will be responsible for managing our corporate client accounts, negotiating contracts, and identifying new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Act as an informed authority for Travel Management Company (TMC) business for arenaflex, providing expert guidance and support to our clients. Build and maintain key business relationships with TMC accounts, focusing on business travel value propositions for arenaflex. Exercise extensive judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements, with the goal of achieving the highest market share and yield possible in individual markets. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-compliant agreements. Analyze revenue, margins, and contract performance to ensure objective compliance and profitability. Develop marketing-related promotions to support sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business development teams. Manage the setup of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordinating with pricing. Plan business growth and lead development of other agency accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams, ensuring that exceptional entries are filed accordingly and driving expected revenue per the specifics of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure that arenaflex is positioned appropriately in the market. Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenues and sales objectives are achieved. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex. Prepare and execute local sales plans in accordance with corporate sales targets, ensuring that arenaflex is strategically positioned among its competitors and leveraging its position in the marketplace. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area. A Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior airline experience. Prior exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with different teams and workgroups. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts caused by competing needs.
