Your tasks will include: Reading English text to rank a series of responses generated by AI models, assessing their accuracy and relevance. Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, which may involve research and fact-checking to ensure the highest level of quality. Evaluating the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models, providing detailed feedback to improve their performance. To excel in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in writing, coupled with exceptional English-language skills, logic, and reasoning abilities. Your attention to detail and capacity to clearly articulate the strengths and weaknesses of a given piece of text will be essential in driving the success of our AI models. Desirable Expertise and Qualifications While we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience as a professional writer or editor, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content. Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at a selective institution. A strong sense of writing style, paired with exceptional English-language spelling and grammar, as well as logic and reasoning skills. Attention to detail and the ability to explain clearly the strengths and weaknesses of a given piece of text. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with pay rates varying based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Currently, our pay rates for core project work by English writing experts are: $25 USD per hour for US-based contributors. Up to 19 GBP per hour for UK contributors. Up to $34 CAD per hour for Canada-based contributors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs, and certain projects may include incentive payments. We also provide the flexibility to work on your own schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
