Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Experience team as an Airport Customer Experience Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and providing exceptional service that reflects the high standards of blithequark. Key Responsibilities Engage with customers, review their daily work sheets, and react to changes in the operating environment to ensure seamless and personalized experiences. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including DPS, AOC, TSC, EOC, Airlines, and CBP, to deliver positive customer experiences during routine and emergency events, such as accident/injury reports, elevator/Skylink entrapments, and homeless population management. Provide accurate and helpful information to customers, answering their questions and concerns about airport services, amenities, concessions, airlines, and kiosks. Offer customer assistance for internal and external stakeholder requests, including terminal tours, media events, Military Service Member Support/USO, SkyLink interruptions, and Airline Special events. Perform multiple customer experience functions across all areas of the terminal, including public spaces, airline spaces, checkpoints, concessions, customs and border protection, custodial and maintenance support, and terminal projects. Maintain accurate activity logs and status reports to monitor business unit performance and identify areas for improvement. Execute daily operational and 4-day forecast plans to direct engagement and interaction with customers, mitigating customer impact and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout all terminals. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least two years of experience in a direct customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs for approximately 500 feet, with occasional lifting and/or pushing up to 50 lbs. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license, with a clean driving record and ability to travel to different locations within the airport. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Ability to speak a second language in addition to English, with fluency in languages such as Spanish, Arabic, or Mandarin being particularly valuable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer applications, with ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and efficient manner. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with attention to detail and ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
