Job Overview and Responsibilities We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to tutor students in First Grade, Fundamentals, with a focus on subjects including but not limited to: Math English Language Arts Reading Fluency Reading Comprehension Phonics/Decoding Vocabulary Grammar Penmanship Writing As a First Grade Tutor, Fundamentals, your key responsibilities will include: Providing session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session Effectively balancing tutoring hours for each assigned student Successfully and professionally teaching students to fit their individual needs Servicing existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests Following up with the office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours Preparing accordingly for each tutoring session, including lesson planning Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement Experience with basic Database/Data Entry Strong administration skills Strong typing, PC, and recording skills Reliable transportation with current car insurance Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Preferred qualifications include experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, as well as a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential.
