About the Role: Substitute Teacher We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Colts Neck, NJ. Key Responsibilities: Teach a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies, to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, adapting to the needs of each classroom and student Manage classroom behavior, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and technologies Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor A NJ Substitute Credential A background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
