Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person communication in a fast-paced customer service center. Your mission will be to resolve customer complaints and provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries, ensuring that our military community receives the highest level of service and support. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues, prepare adjustments for services not properly processed, and maintain accurate records, including timekeeping records. Key Responsibilities Resolve customer inquiries and complaints via written, telephonic, and face-to-face communication in a timely and accurate manner Prepare adjustments for services not properly processed, either systematically or by forwarding to the appropriate area for follow-up and resolution Meet all production, quality, and adherence standards, attending all required training classes to ensure continuous improvement and development Elevate issues to the next level of supervision as appropriate, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration Maintain accurate records, including timekeeping records, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements Perform other duties as assigned or requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to provide world-class customer service. The minimum qualifications for this position include: High School Diploma or GED required for all levels 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center preferred, with healthcare customer service experience strongly preferred Due to Department of Defense (DoD) contract requirements, the incumbent who fills this position must be a US citizen and must also pass a background check Preferred qualifications include: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment and meeting standards Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and respond to customers and their issues promptly and professionally Ability to take direction and navigate through multiple systems simultaneously Ability to maintain composure under stressful and fast-paced conditions Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a simple, customer-facing way Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies that enable you to provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a team environment, and adapt to changing circumstances.
