Job Overview We are seeking motivated and passionate professionals, both experienced and entry-level, to join our team as Autism/ABA Therapists and RBTs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and collaborative environment, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans • Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: • A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting • 1-year ABA/RBT Experience (or equivalent experience in a related field) • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record • Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (or willingness to obtain) • Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families • 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Key Autism Services, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
