Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in La Vergne, TN. As an RBT, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with children in their homes, implementing ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism bolthires disorder Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong passion for working with children and families, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality services. The following qualifications are required: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-$25 per hour, as well as a range of benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
