Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AVP, Analytics for Sam's Club to join our India Analytics Hub (IAH). As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical solutions in partnership with our US Analytics teams. Your expertise will help drive business growth, optimize strategies, and deliver actionable insights across the customer journey. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on analytic support to the Sam's Club Card Program and proactively manage all analytic projects, ensuring timely updates on project status and resource allocation. Spearhead analytics delivery for new product launches, value propositions, customer acquisitions, lifecycle marketing, and customer experience initiatives. Lead strategic and complex analytics projects from ideation to presentation, including data mining, strategy formulation, and results presentation. Design, develop, implement, and monitor analytic solutions that cater to business priorities and propose new solutions to optimize business value and customer experience. Create a test and learn culture through ongoing assessment of marketing programs and campaigns. Partner with Digital and Journey Analytics teams to develop and implement analytic solutions that improve customer experience across different channels. Drive internal initiatives, perform other duties, and/or special projects as assigned. Influence decision-making through data-backed analyses and actionable insights. Ensure committed and responsible last-mile execution of projects. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant Analytics experience, or 6+ years of relevant Analytics experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum 4 years of experience in building analytical solutions to drive strategy with positive outcomes and measuring impact. Minimum 4 years of hands-on SQL and SAS programming experience, with the ability to leverage advanced algorithms and handle complex/large data sets. Good working knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc. Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint, with superior data analysis and storytelling skills. Ability to work in a matrix organization, making and enabling data-driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to manage complexity/ambiguity and multiple initiatives. Preferred Skills and Knowledge To stand out as a candidate, you should possess: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of audiences, including senior business leaders and highly technical talent. Proven hands-on experience utilizing SAS and SQL, with experience in open-source tools like R and Python a plus. Experience with Tableau a plus. Experience with modeling/forecasting, and a strong understanding of targeting and segmentation. Good understanding of credit card industry financial P&L drivers and key sensitivities. You will be required to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (anchored to US Eastern hours and adjusting twice a year locally) for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for you to choose.
