Job Overview As a Data Analyst II in blithequark Data Ventures, you will step into the heart of data interpretation and analysis, assuming a vital role in unraveling customer behavior through our products. Your primary responsibility will be to research, gather, and analyze customer data, transforming raw insights into meaningful conclusions. You will be the creative mind behind customer-driven dashboards that capture key performance indicators, helping our product teams in their strategic decision-making process. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business and product partners to solve challenging business problems and identify trends and valuable opportunities Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and provide actionable insights Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches Develop data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives and special business challenges Identify new levers to help improve key financial data insights, understanding underlying drivers for change in metrics Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis Work closely with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process accurate data from various sources Effectively collaborate cross-functionally and communicate data and insights to non-technical leadership teams Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, Arts, Finance, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field Strong exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to make data-driven proposals and solutions Experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.) Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field Related industry experience (for example, retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce) Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau) Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop in their careers.
