Job Summary The Benefits Representative position at blithequark is a full-time, hourly role that reports to the Benefits Manager. As a Benefits Representative, you will be responsible for processing various benefits, including Health, Life, LTD, and Flexible Spending, as well as assisting with online enrollment system design and reviews. You will also create and maintain weekly Flexible Spending Reports and reviews, and provide support and answer questions related to Life and LTD claims. Key Responsibilities Process Health, Life, LTD, and Flexible Spending benefits Process Change in Status and Special Enrollment Events for benefits Assist with Online Enrollment System design and reviews Create and maintain weekly Flexible Spending Reports and reviews Provide support and answer questions related to Life and LTD claims Interact and pay Life and LTD bills Process and answer Qualified Medical Child Support Requests Assist with 401(k) and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) Plan enrollments Coordinate deposits for the 401(k), NQDC, and IRA accounts Conduct Monthly and Quarterly reviews for the Health Plan Troubleshoot issues with employees and Third-Party Administrators Understand and Interpret Plan Documents Distribute New Hire Packages Saturday work may be required on occasion Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: 2-3 years of Benefits Administration experience with Health, Dental, Life, LTD, Flex, and COBRA Knowledge of 401(k), ERISA, HIPAA, and Healthcare Reform regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with HRIS benefits systems (SAP preferred) High level of attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Graduate degree in a related field Certification in benefits administration (e.g. CEBS, GBA) Experience with benefits administration software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
