Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance, answering questions about prior registrations, and providing referrals to relief programs via our call center. Your exceptional communication and customer service skills will be essential in determining the needs of our clients, providing instructions and referrals, and ensuring that all interactions are conducted with patience, tact, and courtesy. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for entering information into our Windows-based computer database, following instructions, and conducting scripted interviews to ensure that all clients receive the support they need. Key Responsibilities Serve as a direct point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance, asking questions about prior registrations, and seeking relief program referrals via the call center Conduct all calls with patience, tact, and courtesy to determine needs, and provide instructions and/or referrals as necessary Enter information into arenaflex's Windows-based computer database as required, while following instructions and conducting scripted interviews Provide phone numbers and agency referrals as necessary for applicable secondary support organizations and other assistance Perform additional duties assigned based on arenaflex's level of support to the event Attend all scheduled shift meetings to receive event-specific information prior to beginning shift Display excellent communication and customer service skills and exhibit a high level of professionalism in all communications, such as reading, writing, and speaking English fluently Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, technical training, and work experience that demonstrates your ability to manage a high level of confidentiality, work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, and perform comfortably as a team member and independently.
