Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who share a common goal: to deliver exceptional customer service and support. **Job Summary** As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing customer care to millions of New Yorkers who need to navigate complex healthcare plans. You will be the primary point of contact for callers, responding to their inquiries, and providing guidance on the application process. You will also be responsible for processing new applications for health care coverage via the telephone, including building tax household, household income, eligibility determinations, interpreting determinations made by the Marketplace, and enrollment into health plans. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Respond to all inquiries consistent with confidentiality and privacy policies and refers callers to alternate sources when appropriate. * Perform co-browse interactions with consumers seeking assistance with the application process via the NYSOH, as necessary. * Process new applications for health care coverage via the telephone, including: + Building tax household + Household income + Eligibility determinations + Interpreting determinations made by the Marketplace + Enrollment into health plans * Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics. * Occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise move items weighing up to 25 pounds. * Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. * Responsible for adhering to established safety standards. **Minimum Skills and Requirements** * Must be able to speak and read in Mandarin and/or Cantonese and English. * Strong data entry and telephone skills. * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment. * Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. * Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. * Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred. * Previous experience in customer service preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment. * Experience with data entry and computer systems. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues. **Work Environment and Culture** * Remote work environment with flexible scheduling options. * Collaborative and supportive team environment. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * Comprehensive training program to ensure success in the role. **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour. * Comprehensive benefits package, including: + 401(k) plan + Dental insurance + Flexible schedule + Health insurance + Paid time off + Vision insurance * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
