About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Advisor. This is a full-time, remote position that offers an immediate start for the right candidate. As a Customer Advisor, you will play a critical role in resolving order processing issues, answering customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Advise and assist customers by phone and email in resolving order processing issues such as cancellations, modifications, shipping/billing inquiries, and post-order issues Perform with substantial autonomy, taking initiative, and independently assessing cases to the best of your abilities Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and precision, with attention to detail Learn the roles and parts that all of our different departments play at FortNine, and utilize that knowledge to best help our customers Provide sincere and genuinely helpful service to our customers, always striving to exceed their expectations Essential Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience working in an e-commerce or customer service environment preferred Bilingualism: English & French with excellent communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency Solid computer skills/experience, with excellent online research skills No powersports knowledge required, as we will provide the foundation of your moto-fu that you will continue to build and share Strong drive for progression, with a desire to succeed and grow professionally Must be locally based in Montreal, QC, and able to commute to our offices when required Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools Knowledge of the powersports industry, although not required, is an asset Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FortNine, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop professionally.
