About the Role: Field Sales Manager We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Miami, FL, as a Field Sales Manager. This role is a key part of our business development strategy, focusing on growing our customer base through face-to-face interactions with new prospect customers. As a Field Sales Manager, you'll work with senior executives to close calls and land new accounts, leveraging your product knowledge to deliver innovative business solutions that provide ongoing value to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting (30-40% of time) Leverage various contact methods, such as cold calling or in-person meetings, to secure profitable sales through firm-provided leads and contact lists, as well as self-generated leads. Ensure all prospecting is facilitated with integrity and in accordance with our values, focusing on profitably delivering solutions commensurate with the prospective client's needs. Business travel is required, with an expectation of 25-50% of time spent in-market with prospects and clients. Pipeline Management (10-20% of time) Effectively manage a pipeline of prospective customers provided by American Express and self-prospect within your territory. Turn leads into prospects, follow up with contacts in our CRM database, and probe for potential opportunities. Client Solution (10-20% of time) Understand customer requirements and jointly develop solutions in accordance with customer requests. Bring in product specialists to meet with customers and continue conversations to understand areas for improvement. Maintain a high level of knowledge about American Express products, processes, and key internal partners. Negotiate and Close (10-20% of time) Successfully negotiate and consensually move prospects through the next phase of the acquisition cycle. Reaffirm deal details, secure necessary signatures, and transition clients to Field Account Development upon deal completion. Compliance (100% of time) Ensure all aspects of the American Express Code of Conduct and Sales Practices policies, standards, and procedures are adhered to. Uphold the highest standards in interactions with customers and compliantly meet all regulatory requirements. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $125,000 annually, plus sales incentives and benefits.
