Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Utilizing our data entry systems and protocols to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the appropriate framework Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing Investigating to obtain missing medication data and interpreting clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) Resolving all data entry-related exceptions Managing communication with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary Resolving Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements Making phone calls to guarantors and others to acquire information, obtain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections Providing support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations Identifying and escalating issues to senior-level staff as appropriate Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Basic level computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing reports, and accessing information online) Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents) Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally 18 years old or older Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents) Fluency in Spanish and English Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
