Community Building: Foster relationships with community members, including local clergy, business leaders, community activists, immigration attorneys, social service agencies, scholarship organizations, and local government officials. Communication and Translation: Provide translation services for verbal and written communications, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to critical information. Event Planning and Participation: Attend Open Houses, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and other events to promote parental involvement and engagement. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with administration, staff, and faculty to promote enrollment of students in courses and career pathways, and provide support for student and parent conferences. Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to enhance job performance and stay up-to-date on best practices in community outreach and engagement. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Language Proficiency: Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Spanish or other languages, as well as English. Cultural Competence: High degree of familiarity with diverse cultures and ability to work effectively with students, families, and community members from varied backgrounds. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of computers, office practices, procedures, and office equipment.
