Job Overview We are seeking an exceptionally talented Competitive Intelligence (CI) Analyst to join our team. As a CI Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our competitive intelligence efforts, utilizing your analytical prowess, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit to position Parsons for success in the complex landscape of government contracting. Key Responsibilities Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses on critical bids, providing actionable intelligence to inform our bid strategies and drive business growth. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with Business Development, Capture Managers, and Position-to-Win (PTW) Analysts throughout the business acquisition lifecycle to ensure aligned efforts and maximize our competitive advantage. Market Insights Development: Utilize public domain information and industry market research tools to deliver actionable competitive intelligence in support of bid-specific PTW and capture efforts, staying ahead of the curve in market trends and competitor activity. Innovative Thinking and Strategy Development: Employ cutting-edge technology and methodologies to transform data into strategic insights, giving Parsons a distinct competitive edge in the government contracting sector. Leadership and Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Competitor Assessment strategy sessions, bringing together cross-functional teams to uncover critical market, customer, and competitor insights that inform our business strategies. Information Management: Ensure the integrity and efficiency of CI databases, processes, and tools by meticulously cataloging customer, competitor, technology, and pricing information, contributing to our competitive intelligence capabilities. Essential Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business (or equivalent) and 3+ years of related work experience, primarily in federal procurement and/or defense business development, with a strong research and analysis background. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with familiarity with a range of intelligence tools and data interpretation techniques. AI Techniques and Tools: Ability to apply AI techniques to various scenarios and achieve level 1 Artificial Intelligence fluency within the first 30 days, demonstrating adaptability and a keen interest in technological innovation. Industry Tools and Processes: Experience with industry tools (e.g., GovWin, DACIS, Bloomberg Gov’t.) and familiarity with the Black Hat review process, with the ability to coordinate and facilitate with cross-functional teams. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Time Management and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to manage a significant workload and meet deadlines, with comfort in presenting to all levels of leadership and facilitating collaborative strategic reviews. Preferred Qualifications US Government Acquisition Knowledge: Strong understanding of US Government acquisition and source selection methodologies, enhancing our competitive intelligence capabilities.
