Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join their team in a fully remote capacity. As a Construction Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining project schedules for assigned programs, ensuring timely completion, and collaborating with project representatives throughout the project life cycle. As a Construction Project Scheduler, you will be an integral part of this mission, working closely with project management teams to develop integrated detail schedules that incorporate all disciplines, contractors, and client activities. You will report to the Scheduling Manager and be responsible for: • Building and developing project schedules in partnership with the project management team • Ensuring accurate schedule information and reporting • Supporting the project team in strategic planning and scheduling sessions • Developing construction schedules for moderate, component-level projects • Managing detailed project schedules throughout the project duration • Analyzing contractor schedule submittals for appropriate level of detail and completeness • Analyzing contractor time extension requests, schedule impacts of Directives and Change Orders • Building and maintaining key relationships with core team members and clients • Influencing partners to make decisions involving their area of responsibility Required Qualifications & Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: • Basic knowledge of construction and project management processes • Working knowledge of construction sequencing and developing schedules using Critical Path Methodology (CPM) • A Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: • Two years of experience in the commercial facilities construction industry • Experience managing multiple construction project schedules • Experience using scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project What We Offer At Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, we offer a comprehensive rewards package to help you live your best life.
