About the Role We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with a passion for entertainment and a keen eye for detail to join our team. As a Content Tagger and Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: Tagging and categorizing content to ensure accurate metadata Entering data into our systems to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records Collaborating with our engineering team to build and improve our Open Connect control plane Working with cloud microservices, systems for live streaming, and services critical to cloud video games Optimizing hardware utilization using load-balancing algorithms Our Engineering Team and Open Connect Our engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the Open Connect control plane, which includes: Cloud microservices that customers interact with directly when they press 'play' Systems for making live streaming work successfully and with resilience Services that are critical to making cloud video games work Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization We spend our time trying to answer questions like: How do we design our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and other changes in real-time? How do we steer traffic for live shipping over the backbone? How can we quality-ensure the most popular content to improve the customer experience? What is the gold standard way to pack petabytes of content into our machines to optimize their throughput? How should we design our streaming hardware given customer behavior? How do we choose the best server for every cloud game session?
