Job Overview The Customer Advocate position is designed to provide prompt, accurate, and objective responses to written inquiries, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Key Responsibilities Research and respond to written customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and objectivity in all interactions. Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail, meeting productivity and quality standards. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and policies, as well as relevant industry trends and developments. Collaborate with internal teams, including provider network contracting, credentialing, and servicing, to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience. Utilize Microsoft Suite and other software applications to perform job duties, including data entry, email management, and document creation. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing within a healthcare or health insurance environment. Basic computer skills, including navigation in Outlook, general computer proficiency, and toggling between applications. Experience with data entry and/or typing, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service and support. Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Detail-oriented approach, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of work. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration, business, or communications. 5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing, with a strong understanding of industry trends and developments. 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment, with a proven track record of accuracy and productivity. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, with a strong foundation in healthcare principles and practices.
