You'll use your analytical and thought leadership skills to execute category strategies in alignment with customer priorities, driving category and customer growth through data-driven decision-making. **Primary Responsibilities** * Manage data sources to monitor the field execution of vendor programs & assortments, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results. * Communicate complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, distilling insights into actionable recommendations. * Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry, providing expert guidance to deliver sales, margin, and market development goals. * Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, driving improvement of results and finding innovative solutions. * Track category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. * Develop, communicate, execute, and monitor specific performance metrics and goals relevant to each business, ensuring alignment with customer priorities. * Create and deliver effective reports using POS data, Syndicated Data, and account-specific database information in presentation-ready formats, showcasing key findings and recommendations. * Evaluate and make recommendations on supplier performance to enhance the company's inventory & fill rate objectives, driving business growth and profitability. * Understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data to deliver category growth, staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity. * Ensure superior client satisfaction by providing hands-on deep analytics and contributing to team problem-solving, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. * Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, performing other job-related duties as assigned, and adapting to changing business needs. **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree and experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, with a preference for Adult Beverage experience and Costco experience. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to incorporate and interpret data from multiple unrelated data sources into concise action-oriented recommendations. * Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations, with expertise in category management principles, syndicated data, and shopper/consumer insights (Numerator/Spectra, etc.). * Ability to collaborate with external retail customers, key suppliers, and internal teams to deliver insights and recommendations, with assertive leadership and decision-making skills. * Preferred experience working with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Internal Shipment Data, and Household Panel, with strong leadership, decision-making capability, and a proven track record of success. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex reports and presentations. **Physical Demands** * Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor). * Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. * Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime, and weekends, with occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs. **EEO Statement** blithequark is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibiting discrimination and harassment of any type and providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
