About the Role As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in introducing our cloud solutions to customers, helping them understand the power of our technology, and developing creative answers to their business needs. You will work cross-functionally with our sales teams, product marketing management, and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise upgrades to our cloud products. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting local sales teams in pursuit of key business opportunities, engaging clients to address points of the data lifecycle, and leading technical projects that showcase our technology advocacy. Key Responsibilities Support local sales teams in pursuit of key business opportunities, engage clients to address points of the data lifecycle Identify business and technical requirements, conduct full technical discovery, and architect customer solutions to fulfill gathered requirements Be responsible for leading technical projects, including activities such as technology advocacy, helping bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources Work directly with arenaflex Cloud Platform products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments Travel for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as needed Prepare and deliver product messaging that highlights the arenaflex Cloud Platform value proposition, using techniques such as whiteboard and slide shows, product demonstrations, white papers, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents Minimum Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent realistic experience, as well as at least 3 years of experience as a technical representative, technical pre-sales engineer, company architect, or in a customer-facing position. You should also have experience with conventional analytic warehouse solutions, big data technologies, real-time streaming, performance, or scalability optimizations. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Technology or a related technical field Experience developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, and ETL workflow solutions Experience with data and data management as it pertains to big data trends and challenges within organizations Ability to handle AI/ML and ML operations issues as part of the data analytics platform and lifecycle Capacity to quickly research, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions within the cloud/IT era area Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate a strong customer focus, and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
