Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Engineer, you will play a crucial role in introducing arenaflex Cloud to clients, helping them understand the power of cloud computing, and developing innovative solutions to tackle their business challenges. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Business team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify client technical complaints, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers. Manage the technical relationship with arenaflex clients, including product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources. Work with clients to demonstrate and model arenaflex Cloud product combinations in client or partner environments. Recommend migration strategies, project models, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure to implement a comprehensive solution using arenaflex Cloud. Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events as needed. Test and inspire clients and partners to solve problems with solutions using a set of technical capabilities. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 4 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role. Experience with traditional data center models and components (e.g., servers, storage, backup, networking, and virtualization technology). Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Experience with deployment strategies and technologies (e.g., Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Chef, Puppet, Ansible). Experience with operating systems, Linux system administration, or Enterprise applications. Experience with public cloud platforms, infrastructure, storage, or platforms. Experience in security matters (e.g., authentication protocols, identity and access management systems, encryption, securing cloud architectures, network, and endpoint security). Experience in areas of networking (e.g., Linux, software-defined networking, virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks, and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies). Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical skills and knowledge of cloud computing, including infrastructure, platform, and software as a service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, partners, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives.
