Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Engineer Manager to join our team, responsible for leading and driving customer success through strategic planning, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Sales and Customer Engineering (CE) leadership to determine appropriate staffing levels, outline work orders, and lead interview teams to fill open positions, ensuring alignment with annual business objectives. Evaluate the CE team's go-to-market readiness, identify gaps in CE preparedness, and develop plans to ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped to support annualized business objectives. Work with the arenaflex Desktop Outreach team leadership to identify, qualify, and target opportunities for business growth, driving strategic partnerships and revenue expansion. Participate in key account management as executive support, establishing relationships across client organizations and fostering long-term partnerships. Collaborate with the Business Development, Customer Success, Product Management, Customer Solutions, and Engineering teams to resolve product issues impacting pre- and post-sales customer satisfaction, ensuring seamless customer experiences. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles and practices. At least 4 years of experience as a technical sales engineer lead in a SaaS or cloud environment, or a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of driving customer success and revenue growth. Experience in leading Client Design and managing design teams, with a strong understanding of design principles, methodologies, and best practices. Preferred Qualifications MBA or Graduate degree in Software Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise in technical and business principles. Experience serving in the capacity of a pre-sales, field engineering chief, or as a customer-facing field engineer, with a strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success strategies. Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related technical concepts, with a strong understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and deployments. Ability to occasionally work across different time zones, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, global environment.
