As a Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers via phone to resolve their issues, answer questions, and provide support. Your role will be critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Key Responsibilities Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. Research account status and identify account issues, utilizing your analytical skills to understand the root cause of problems and propose effective solutions. Address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome. Process disconnection and re-connection requests, following all regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure compliance and customer safety. Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues, providing clear and concise information to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests, always maintaining a customer-centric approach while adhering to company policies. Serve as a customer advocate, ensuring that customer needs are met and that all interactions are conducted with empathy and understanding, while also adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal), allowing you to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent listening skills, ensuring that you understand customer needs and concerns accurately. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers, de-escalating situations professionally and resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction. Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service, striving for first-call resolution and customer satisfaction. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze customer issues, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions. Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations. Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications, facilitating efficient data management and analysis. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace, adapting to new processes, technologies, and customer needs with agility. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred, particularly in the retail electricity industry or similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable. Experience within the retail electricity industry, providing a deep understanding of the industry's nuances and customer needs. Experience in similar markets, such as utilities, telecom, or cable, offering a broad perspective on customer service best practices and industry trends.
