Our team consists of the company founder, three skilled Software Developers, a Quality Assurance Analyst, a part-time Head of Customer Experience, and two part-time Customer Support Representatives. We are now seeking an additional Customer Support Representative to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding customer experiences. Job Summary As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to respond to user needs in a timely and professional manner, primarily through email-based support. You will be the frontline ambassador for our company, ensuring that all customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective support. Your duties will include responding to all incoming communication, investigating and resolving customer issues, processing refunds, and compiling chargeback disputes. You will also be required to participate in regular video team meetings and collaborate with your supervisor and team members to achieve our performance and response metrics. Key Responsibilities: Respond to all email, social media, voicemail, and Slack messages in a timely and professional manner Investigate, test, and resolve customer issues, escalating complex issues when necessary Process refunds and compile chargeback disputes Meet with supervisor and team members via video conferencing on a regular basis Satisfactorily meet performance and response metrics, including maintaining an average first reply time under 12 hours on weekdays and under 24 hours on weekends Document customer issues and create bug tickets, where needed Occasionally assist with testing sites before and after updates Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Be an exceptionally reliable and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic Have a natural ability to provide excellent customer support, turning negative experiences into positive ones Enjoy working independently and autonomously in a remote environment Excel in written and verbal communication, with excellent grammar and spelling skills Have at least 1 year of experience in a dedicated customer support role Be comfortable participating in virtual and video meetings Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications: Experience with remote work and virtual teams Familiarity with banking or handling payment transactions High technical and web literacy, with experience using tools like Slack, Groove, Jira, Trello, Google Drive, and Stripe Strong writing skills and experience in writing, particularly in a technical or customer support context Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
